Wire Straightening and Wire Cutting
Aristo-Tec offers wire straightening and cutting services, either as a step in a larger production process, or as a finished product. In addition to straightening and cutting for our in-house operations, Aristo-Tec offers our toll service for straightening and cutting coiled wire supplied by our customers.
The process of straightening and cutting is relatively simple. The coiled wire is placed on a turntable and is pulled through a set of grooved wheels at right angles to each other, called two plane straightening, where the wire is semi-straightened. It is then flexed through a spinning arbor that fine tunes the straightening. The final operation measures and cuts to a predetermined length as specified by the customer.
