Four Slide Press - Tooling - Wire Forming
Aristo-tec uses four slide presses to manufacture many of our custom wire products. A four slide press is a specially designed press that allows for multiple forming operations to be completed on one machine in a sequence. Four slide machines offer many advantages because of the efficiency of the four slide press including:
- All of the tooling is mounted to one machine bed, meaning no transfer of parts to another piece of equipment
- All of the operations are powered by one synchronized motor to ensure consistency in forming and part advancement.
- Most effecient method for high volume complex parts manufacturability
- Offers more cost effective forming process over standard stamping presses and offers better accuracy and speed.
The four slide press is especially beneficial when multiple complex bends are required to manufacture a part. Items like bends over 90o, multiple forming in different directions are more effectively produced on a four slide press than other methods.
